All prices on this page are in USD. Your local currency at checkout will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate.


At Smonu, we ship worldwide directly from our manufacturing atelier. Every order is carefully inspected, packaged, and prepared for its journey to you.

Processing Time

All orders are inspected, packaged, and prepared for shipment within 2–5 business days of purchase.

During sales events and major holidays (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day), processing may take up to 7 business days. We'll email you as soon as your order ships.

Holiday closures: Our atelier observes regional holidays, including the Lunar New Year (typically late January through mid-February). Orders placed during these periods will be processed in the order received once we resume operations. We always announce closures in advance via email and on our homepage banner.

Note: All delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, carrier delays, weather, or local holidays. Express shipments cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or freight-forwarding warehouses — please use a residential or commercial street address.


Tracking Your Order

As soon as your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to follow your package in real time.

If you don't see the email within 7 business days of ordering, please check your spam folder — or email us at hello@smonu.com and we'll resend it.


Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Smonu does its best to provide a smooth, no-surprise checkout experience worldwide. Here's how duties and taxes work by region:

United States — Duties & taxes

Import duties and taxes may apply on orders to the US. These charges are set by US Customs and Border Protection and may be collected by the carrier at delivery. Smonu does not control or collect these fees.

United Kingdom & European Union — VAT collected at checkout

For orders to the UK and EU, applicable VAT is calculated and collected at checkout in compliance with UK VAT and EU IOSS regulations. You will not be charged VAT again at delivery.

A small customs processing fee may occasionally be charged by the carrier on EU orders — this is uncommon for IOSS-registered shipments, but Smonu cannot control carrier-imposed fees.

Canada

Most Smonu orders to Canada clear customs without duty charges. However, GST/HST may be collected by the carrier at delivery. These charges are set by the Canada Border Services Agency and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Australia & New Zealand

GST (10% AU / 15% NZ) is calculated and collected at checkout where required. No additional duties apply for orders under AUD $1,000 / NZD $1,000.

Singapore & Hong Kong

Orders under SGD $400 / HKD $3,000 are generally tax-free — no GST, no duties. For orders above this threshold, GST may be collected at delivery.

All other countries

Import duties, taxes, and customs handling fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are set by your local customs authority and collected by the carrier at delivery.

General notes

  • In compliance with international trade regulations, we declare the full value of all shipments and cannot mark packages as gifts or undervalue them.
  • If you'd like to estimate duties for your country before ordering, your local customs office can provide guidance based on HS code 7113 (articles of jewelry).

If you refuse a package due to unexpected customs charges, the package will be returned to us or destroyed by customs. In either case, we are unable to issue a refund for the original shipping cost or any return fees charged to us by the carrier.


Lost, Stolen, or Undelivered Packages

We take great care in packaging and shipping every order, but once a package leaves our atelier, it's in the hands of the carrier.

If tracking shows "Delivered" but you don't have the package:

  • Check with neighbors, building management, mailroom, and any "safe drop" locations
  • Wait 24–48 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered before the actual drop-off
  • Contact your local carrier with the tracking number to file a missing-package report
  • Email us at hello@smonu.com and we'll do our best to help you resolve the issue with the carrier

Once a package is marked as Delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient. While we'll always do our best to assist, Smonu cannot be held responsible for packages confirmed delivered but missing from the delivery location.

If a package appears lost in transit (no tracking updates for 15+ business days for standard shipping, or 10+ business days for express), please email us. We will:

  • Open an investigation with the carrier
  • Once the carrier confirms the loss, send a free replacement of your original order

Refunds for lost packages are issued only after carrier confirmation of loss and at our discretion.

Want extra protection? We offer optional shipping protection at checkout, which covers loss, theft, and damage in transit for a small fee. We highly recommend it for orders shipping to areas with frequent porch theft or unreliable mail service.


Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address exactly as you enter it.

If you notice a mistake, email us at hello@smonu.com as soon as possible — ideally before your order ships. Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, we cannot guarantee address changes, and any re-routing fees charged by the carrier will be the customer's responsibility.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we'll contact you to arrange reshipment (additional shipping fees will apply).
